Bel Air is world-renowned for its combination of high-class aesthetics and exquisite taste in design. Listings in this neighborhood offer a truly world-class caliber that is unrivaled anywhere else in the world. Replete with premium accommodations, state-of-the-art technology, and gorgeous views, once you move here you won’t ever want to leave.
One of the biggest deterrents to buying in this neighborhood is the hefty price tags that make this one of the most exclusive areas anywhere in Los Angeles. Secluded behind the Santa Monica Mountains, this gem of a neighborhood boasts prices in the tens of millions, and a plethora of properties that top a (virtually unheard of anywhere else) sticker price that tops out in the high 9-figures.
Successful people from all walks of life flock to the gated community of Bel Air as the premium destination for a prestigious lifestyle that only its zip code can provide its residents. You can look all over LA, but you aren’t going to find the synergy between the heightened level of privacy and luxury that Bel Air offers.
Home to renowned artists, musicians, actors, entrepreneurs, and the upper echelon of socialites, if you choose to call Bel Air home, you have the potential to network with some of the best and brightest people in the world.
Residents who choose to make Bel Air their home are choosing seclusion over socialization.
Be prepared to be the only person walking around after dark, however, as this neighborhood is usually very secure and private. You won’t find a lot of friends and neighbors here, but you will be in excellent company in sharing a view with someone who shares similar tastes in both elegance and style.
Bel Air makes up one point of the famous Platinum Triangle that consists of three prestigious neighborhoods: Bel Air, Holmby Hills, and Beverly Hills. Pristine properties, incredible views, and breathtakingly serene, private homes are what this neighborhood has to offer would-be residents.
WHAT’S THE VIBE?
This is the top of the charts, honey! If you’ve made it to Bel Air, this is where you’re going to stay–probably for the rest of your life. It’s where everyone wants to be. So, if you are shopping in this neighborhood, don’t look for anything less than your dream home. But when your spending in this neighborhood, why wouldn’t you want to? Don’t expect to be able to hit up nightlife easily, or hop in your car and go someplace nearby, but again let’s be realistic–if you are shopping in this neighborhood, you definitely have a driver to get you where you need to go. However, I will point out that local residents love to hit up the Bel Air Hotel, myself included. I usually look forward to having their famous cheeseburger with an extra chilled vodka martini on the side.
MEET YOUR NEIGHBORS:
Your neighbors are probably people you can quickly Wikipedia. After Google searching them, you’ll probably want to move here, if you aren’t in their social circle already. However, their security systems and guards probably won’t want you to be overly social–so don’t try welcoming them to the neighborhood with home-baked goods. However, you could probably set something up for next quarter through their assistant, but only if you’re lucky.
Lavish, lush, decadent–homes in this neighborhood are what made people like me want to go into real estate at a young age. Selling these gorgeous homes with picturesque views is the pinnacle of every agent’s career, and buying one of them for yourself is every home owner’s dream.
